What Stephen Does At Planet Ark Power

Stephen leads engagement with all levels of government, industry and the community to ensure decision makers understand the value that Planet Ark Power can bring through renewable energy initiatives.


Stephen Robertson is a former member of the Queensland Parliament and a senior Minister in successive State Governments between 1992 and 2012.

Over his 13 years of ministerial service, Stephen held the portfolios of Health, Energy, Water, Natural Resources, Mines, Trade and Emergency Services.

Prior to his elevation to the Queensland Cabinet, he was Parliamentary Secretary for State Development, chaired the Queensland Small Business Council and was a member of the Queensland Innovation Council and the Queensland Food Industry Council.

Before joining Planet Ark Power, Stephen was a Consultant, providing customised training for Board management teams and staff in areas including governance, meeting skills, risk identification and management and government and stakeholder relations.

Stephen is also Chair of Healthy Land and Water, South East Queensland’s natural resources management organisation, NRM Regions Queensland and is also a non-Executive Director of the West-Moreton Hospital and Health Board.
